Our Story
Since 1999 · 100 acres · Shreveport, LA
26 years of festivals — now a place to stay.
For over a quarter century, families have made the trip to PapaMawga's every October — wandering our corn maze, picking the perfect pumpkin, and making memories under the Louisiana sky. Some 35,000 guests visit each year, and many have grown up coming back.
Now we're opening the farm in a whole new way. The festival grounds are becoming RV and camping sites, the produce fields keep growing each season, and the Activity Center welcomes guests year-round. It's the same farm you remember — with a hammock to swing in and a porch light to come home to.

Our Heritage
From DixieMaze Farms to PapaMawga's
Twenty-six years of Southern farm tradition.
Before there were RV sites and full hookups, there was a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and a family that believed a hundred acres of Louisiana farmland was worth sharing. This is how we got here.
1999
The Beginning
What started as a family farm in Shreveport, LA opening its gates as DixieMaze Farms — a fall destination where neighbors could wander a corn maze, pick a pumpkin, and spend an afternoon under the southern sky.
2000s
The Festival Era
For more than two decades, families made the trip every October. The maze grew, the pumpkin patch became a tradition, and some 35,000 guests a year made memories on these hundred acres.
2025
A New Chapter
The festival grounds began their transformation. The same fields that drew crowds each fall became RV and camping sites — full hookups, shade, and a porch light for travelers to come home to year-round.
Today
The Farm, Reimagined
PapaMawga's RV and Camping carries the heritage of DixieMaze Farms forward. The people are the same, produce still grows, the view is amazing, and now you can stay where the memories have always been made all while making some of your own.
